1. The Brazilian Association of vegetable Oil Industries: maintains its 2020 harvest forecast that annual soybean production in Brazil this year will reach a record 124.5 million tons, 3.75% higher than the 120 million tons in 2019. If this figure is finally confirmed, Brazil may overtake the United States as the world’s largest soybean producer for the first time.

2.Codelco, Chile’s national copper company, the world’s largest copper producer, said it would temporarily suspend upgrading projects at its El Teniente copper mine, saying the move was necessary to combat the fast-spreading novel coronavirus pandemic.

3.World Health Organization (WHO): announced to stop the trials of hydroxychloroquine and lopinavir / ritonavir in its “Solidarity trial” project, on the grounds that there was little or no decrease in novel coronavirus’s hospitalization rate in these branch trials. 9.Air France Group: 7850 jobs will be cut by the end of 2022. Flight activity and turnover plummeted 95% from March to June.
